01My story

Welcome to this journey

I wasn't born understanding the markets. I started by working, asking questions, and looking for a more intentional way to build my future.

Where I come from

I'm Vicente García, a Mexican immigrant. For nearly 13 years, I have worked in the restaurant industry. I started as a dishwasher and, through hard work and consistency, advanced to busser, food runner, server, assistant manager, and finally general manager.

That journey taught me to keep a schedule, solve problems, work under pressure, and keep going even when the day is long. It also helped me understand something important: working hard is valuable, but it is not always enough to build freedom.

“Working hard was the beginning. Learning to put my money to work changed my path.”

Why I began investing

For a long time, my attention was focused on working and meeting my responsibilities. Then I began asking what I could do so that part of my money could work for me too.

That led me to saving, investing, and later trading. I did not begin because I understood every term or had market experience. I started from scratch: reading, taking courses, practicing, and making mistakes that forced me to learn.

What you will find here

This space documents that process. I will share basic concepts, long-term investing, fixed income, ETFs, stocks, FIBRAs, options, risk management, and the lessons I learn along the way.

Many people do not begin investing because they feel language is a barrier or financial terminology is too complex. My goal is to explain it in Spanish, in a simple and straightforward way, with practical examples that help people understand each concept without feeling lost.

What you will not find

You will not find promises of easy money, guaranteed returns, or magic formulas. Investing and trading involve risk, study, patience, and discipline.

This space does not promote shortcuts. It documents the journey.

For educational purposes only. I share my experience and learning process; this is not financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell investments.
